Situation
Park’s facility had grown quickly in 2022 without a maintenance plan. Technicians responded to alarms as they appeared, often during peak-rate afternoon hours. Power bills spiked whenever a fan failure forced adjacent units to compensate thermally.
Our Work
We spent three days on site in March 2024. Every unit was thermally imaged, and failure logs from the previous eight months were cross-referenced against ambient temperature records. We identified that units near the west wall — exposed to afternoon sun through metal siding — failed 2.3× more often than interior racks.
Outcome
The maintenance calendar grouped fan replacements and filter changes into four-hour windows every third Sunday, aligned with Park’s cheapest electricity block. Within 90 days, unplanned downtime dropped from 14 hours to under five hours per month. Park added reflective insulation to the west wall separately, based on our recommendation.

Challenge: Uncertain service intervals for a new cooling method
Situation
Han had converted a section of a garage to immersion cooling and had no local reference for how often fluid filters and pump seals would need attention. Manufacturer documentation assumed air-cooled intervals.
Our Work
A two-day performance review measured fluid temperature stability, pump vibration, and hashrate consistency across a 72-hour load cycle. We recommended a six-week filter check and a quarterly fluid top-off during Han’s lowest-rate overnight window.
Outcome
After six months on the schedule, Han reported zero unplanned shutdowns. Fluid consumption matched our estimates within 8%.
