Why Windows Matter

Every hour a rig spends offline during peak-rate electricity costs more than the same hour at night. Unplanned failures are worse — they happen when the machine is earning the most. Maintenance windows are deliberate blocks of time when you choose to take units offline, grouped to minimize lost revenue.

Our Planning Method

Step 1 — Failure History Review

We collect your downtime logs, repair invoices, and alarm records from the past six to twelve months. Patterns emerge: which units fail, at what ambient temperature, and during which shifts technicians actually respond.

Step 2 — Tariff Mapping

Your power contract defines when electricity is cheapest. We overlay your failure patterns onto those hours. A fan swap at 2 AM on a Sunday costs less in both labor urgency and per-kWh rate than the same swap at 3 PM on a Wednesday.

Step 3 — Unit Grouping

Units with similar age, location, and wear are grouped into the same window. This means one technician visit handles six fan replacements instead of six separate emergency calls across the month.

Step 4 — Calendar Delivery

You receive a four-week rolling calendar with specific dates, times, unit serial numbers, and tasks. Each entry notes expected downtime in minutes and the parts to have on hand.

Step 5 — Adjustment Cycle

After two weeks of following the calendar, we hold a review call. If a window was missed or a new failure type appeared, the schedule updates. One revision is included with every audit.

Filter and airflow — Quarterly, 3–4 hours, all units
Fan replacement — Every 8–14 weeks depending on dust exposure, 15–30 minutes per unit
Hashboard inspection — Semi-annual, 45–60 minutes per unit, requires shutdown
PSU capacitor check — Annual, 20 minutes per unit, visual and thermal

Who Executes the Work

We plan the windows. Your in-house technicians or contracted repair staff perform the physical work. Our cleaning coordination service is available if you prefer us to supervise filter and dust maintenance directly.
