Our Beginning
Portalcypresscore Mining Review started in 2017 when two former facility electricians in Changwon began documenting failure patterns in locally deployed Antminer rigs. Operators kept asking the same question: when should we service these machines without throwing away a profitable week? Nobody was answering it with site-specific data.
We spent the first year visiting farms across Gyeongsangnam-do, logging fan failures, hashboard temperatures, and the exact hour each unit went offline. By 2019 we had enough field data to publish maintenance calendars that accounted for Korea’s time-of-use electricity rates — not generic manufacturer intervals.
What We Do Today
We remain a review and planning practice, not a hardware vendor or repair shop. Our technicians visit your facility, assess every unit at 0.05 PH/s or above, and deliver written maintenance-window plans. Some clients handle repairs in-house; others use our cleaning coordination service. We do not sell miners, host hashrate, or manage wallets.
Our Team
- Sang-ho Kim — Lead assessor, 14 years in industrial electrical maintenance before moving to mining facilities in 2015.
- Yuna Choi — Thermal analysis specialist, formerly with a semiconductor equipment manufacturer in Daegu.
- Dae-won Lee — Field coordinator, manages scheduling and client communication across the Gyeongsang region.
Working Approach
We arrive with clipboards and thermal cameras, not sales decks. Every report names specific units, specific failure risks, and specific hours when service will cost you the least hashrate. If your cabling is dangerous, we say so plainly. If a model in your fleet is a poor fit for coastal humidity, we document that too.
Community
We sponsor a quarterly meetup in Changwon for small-scale operators — usually held at a café near Seongsan Lake. Attendance is free; the conversation is about practical maintenance, not market speculation.
